TERMS & CONITIONS

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions – By booking a photo session with Yasmin Mawete Photography, the client agrees to all the terms & conditions.


Terms - Yasmin Mawete Photography reserves the right to amend these terms & conditions without prior notice.

Booking Fee - The Booking Fee which is £35 from the Total Fee secures the date, time and services of Yasmin Mawete Photography which is non-refundable. The remaining balance has to be paid on the session day or any day before.


Product Orders - All orders shall be treated as an extension of this contract and will be charged for at the photographers’ price prevailing at the time of purchase.

Payment For Products - The cost of the product(s) must be paid for in full in order to be processed. This is non- refundable.

​

Orders may take up to 4 weeks to be completed. No responsibility for errors will be accepted unless orders have been given in writing and have been confirmed by the photographer.

​

Delivery Of Products & Services - Yasmin Mawete Photography will not be liable for delays that are beyond her reasonable control and will use reasonable endeavours to meet agreed deadlines where applicable.

Please note that not all poses and shots are guaranteed. All children (and adults) are different and it may not be possible to achieve similar or requested images. In regards to cake smash sessions, cakes are not provided by Yasmin Mawete due to health and safety and allergies.

​

Damaged Goods - Yasmin Mawete shall provide a replacement if the product(s) arrives to the client damage. Evidence must be provided.

​

Yasmin Mawete is under no obligation to provide a solution for a product that is damaged as a result of improper use by the client normal wear and tear.

​

Attendance - In the unlikely event of Yasmin Mawete not being able to attend your photo-shoot due to unforeseen circumstances, Yasmin Mawete has the right to reschedule the session to a convenient date that is agreed by the client.

​

If you, (the client) are going to be late for your session, please ensure you contact Yasmin Mawete. If you are late by more than 30 minutes, there will be a £30 charged towards your session. Your session may be rescheduled due to other commitments/bookings. If you do not attend your session with no contact made, the session will be cancelled and any booking payments made will not be refunded.

Display - Yasmin Mawete Photography may use any images/products for her website, portfolio, display areas, competitions or advertising. If you are not happy for your images to be used, please state this in an email to ym_photography@hotmail.com within 5 days of recieving your booking form so that this can be actioned.

Images - Images will be completed within 2-4 weeks from the day of your session. All images are of high resolution. Yasmin Mawete Photography will provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching as it is impossible to record digitally the exact colour as seen by the human eye.

​

Once digital pictures are delivered to the client (by email or download link) they can not be exchanged/replaced or returned. Prints are posted within 4 weeks after edited version is sent to the client.

​

Retouching - All images include basic editing. For high level of editing (Photoshop) this must be confirmed with Yasmin Mawete for any additional costs that may be applied.


Failure - In the event of a camera failure or images are unsatisfactory, a free reshoot will be arranged. These dates and times will be in discretion and must be made within a month from the first session date.

Copyright - As part of Yasmin Mawete Photography service, the client has full copyright permission to use an image in any way they wish.

​

Digital Files/Data - Digital files/data remain safely and securely protected in the sole property of Yasmin Mawete Photography for 7 years from the date the client's data is taken. Thereon after, the client's data may be completely destroyed.


Complaints - The client should raise any complaints with Yasmin Mawete Photography and put in writing to ym_photography@hotmail.com within 14 days of the session carried out. The photographer shall aim to resolve the complaint within 30 days from the date the complaint is recieved.

Service Cancellation - The booking fee is non-refundable. In the event of a (1st) cancellation, the non refundable booking fee will be credited towards a future session which the time and date is to be agreed by both the client and Photographer. If a second cancellation is made, the booking fee must be repaid.

​

Product Cancellation - The customer has the right to cancel the agreement if Yasmin Mawete is unable to provide a product as requested by the client.

​

Studio - Client's are not allowed to take any photos during the session. For video recordings of the photographer working please ask.
